When a child from an orphanage or boarding school goes to the hospital, he remains there completely alone. There is no one to hold his hand before a terrible procedure, to comfort him when it hurts, or to rock him. And it is difficult, and sometimes impossible, for teenagers from boarding schools to move around and take care of themselves on their own, just like babies.
The "I will be Near" foundation project was created to change this. We provide children from orphanages and boarding schools in the Krasnoyarsk Territory with constant care and support in hospitals. Our professional babysitters are on duty in hospitals in three cities of the region, replacing a child with a close adult in the most difficult moment.
We are not only helping orphans. There are children among our wards who have parents according to documents, but in fact they are not around — it is impossible to contact them, and there is no one to help.
Our goal is simple: to have a kind and caring adult in every child's hospital room. To do this, we need your support to pay for the nannies.
