Jonona has cancer and she needs chemotherapy!

Jonona is a kind and bright girl. She's in the 7th grade, loves to cook, and cares deeply for homeless animals. Most of all, she loves being with her family: playing with her older sister and younger brother, laughing, and feeling the warmth of home. In August 2025, her life changed dramatically. She suffered severe headaches and nausea. They treated one thing, but it turned out to be another. When her condition worsened, they did an MRI and discovered cancer – a brain tumor. Jonona was urgently sent to Moscow. There, she underwent a complex operation to remove the tumor. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and continues to fight every day. The girl's family is foreigners and is paying for her medical care out of their own pockets. Jonona's father is with her in the hospital, while her mother remained in her homeland with her two other children. Jonona experiences intense homesickness, but remains resilient.
