Ismail is 8 years old. He has atypical autism with moderate intellectual disability. He undergoes regular rehabilitation (every six months) and is showing positive progress: his comprehension is improving, he has begun to respond to speech and is attempting to pronounce individual words. However, much work remains. Behavioral difficulties persist: he has severe tantrums, during which he may hit himself on the head and try to run away.
Currently, the boy requires another rehabilitation course. This is necessary to consolidate the progress already made and learn new important skills. Unfortunately, his family is in a difficult financial situation and cannot afford this course.
