Report

When the organization Vernost cares for more than 3,000 animals, and one person looks after 140 cats every day (60 of whom are our direct wards), every little detail becomes part of a massive routine. Take, for example, an ordinary plastic container. Yet it has become the main tool for hygiene and safety in our shelter.

Your support has helped us solve two critically important tasks. First, it has allowed us to preserve the quality and freshness of food for a long time. Second, it has sped up the cleaning process. Containers make it possible to store food neatly and compactly indoors, and many models are equipped with convenient lids and handles, making it easier to portion and carry. As a result, our volunteer now has more time to interact with the animals instead of endlessly cleaning up spilled food. Using containers helps maintain order and hygiene in the feeding areas. They are easy to wash and disinfect, which reduces the risk of disease and contamination of food by bacteria.

Thank you for supporting this modest but so important fundraiser. You have given our 140 wards not just plastic items. You have given them safety, health, and daily comfort.

About the campaign

Help a cat shelter purchase supplies

More than 3,000 cats need to be rescued, treated, cared for, and placed in loving homes. That is exactly how many animals the charity “Vernost” cares for.

One of our experienced animal volunteers cares for 140 cats at once, about 60 of which are under “Vernost’s” care. They all live in a specially equipped shelter where sanitary and veterinary standards are strictly observed, and our specialists monitor the animals’ condition.

We are now launching a fundraiser to purchase food bowls. This is not just a convenience, but a necessity for maintaining order, hygiene, and comfort during feeding. The bowls protect the food from dirt, fur, and foreign objects, which is especially important when caring for a large number of animals. In addition, they allow us to precisely monitor how much food each cat eats—this helps us monitor their health and notice appetite problems in a timely manner.

By supporting our fundraiser, you are contributing to the care and well-being of dozens of cats.
