Ahmad has autism. He needs to undergo a rehabilitation course so that he could learn new skills!

Ahmad was born a strong baby, and the doctors gave him a high Apgar score – 9 out of 10. During his first year he grew and developed like any ordinary child. But when the boy turned 1.5 years old, he suddenly began flicking his fingers in front of his face. This movement frightened his mom and she immediately consulted a pediatric neurologist. The little boy was prescribed treatment, but it brought no noticeable improvement. Hoping that her son could learn to communicate and play, his mom sent Ahmad to kindergarten. But no miracle happened. In the group he seemed not to notice the other children, passing them by as if they were invisible. Thus, his mom consulted several doctors to finally find out his diagnosis. One of the specialists directed them to an early intervention center. For a whole year the boy attended sessions with a speech therapist and a psychologist. And at nearly 4 years old, Ahmad was diagnosed with autism. A ray of hope appeared in February 2025, when Ahmad started rehabilitation. During this course his mom saw for the first time how well ABA therapy (a method of teaching and behavior correction that helps acquire new skills and improve quality of life) suited her son, and how to find the right approach to him. The kindergarten teachers noticed that Ahmad began following requests, cleaning up after himself and even dressing himself independently. The doctors insist on 4–6 such rehabilitation courses per year to consolidate progress and teach Ahmad new skills. But unfortunately, the family is financially limited and simply cannot afford these life‑essential ABA sessions. Let’s all together help Ahmad learn to understand the world and live a full life!
