Ksenia and Dima need the care of specialized nannies!

Ksenia Voronets and Dima Belous’s families need our help. Two children from different cities are united by one diagnosis — epilepsy. Ksenia’s first seizures began immediately after birth, and doctors had to put her on a ventilator. Now she is four years old. She can barely hold her head up, moves only in a wheelchair, and can hardly see. Her mother is raising two children on her own; their father passed away two years ago due to cancer. Dima is nine years old, and in addition to a severe form of epilepsy, he has delayed psycho-speech development. He requires round-the-clock care: feeding, dressing, and bathing. His mother is also raising him alone. All these years, she hasn’t been able to leave her son even for a minute. She had to quit the job, and even a visit to the doctor has become an unaffordable luxury. Let’s give these incredibly strong mothers a few hours of rest so that, for the first time in many years, they can take care of their own health. Together, we can cover the cost of specialized caregivers who know how to care for children with disabilities.
