Malik has cerebral palsy and needs a comprehensive rehabilitation course

Malik was born premature at 28 weeks, weighing only 950 grams. He has diagnosis – cerebral palsy. He attends school, is finishing third grade, and studies diligently. He undergoes ongoing rehabilitation to learn to walk independently. His dream is to play soccer with his peers. His parents, in turn, are doing everything possible to help him achieve independence. In November, Malik underwent adductor myotomy to improve his walking. Now he feels much better: his legs no longer tangle as they once did. However, to maintain the results, he needs ongoing therapy to prevent spasticity from taking hold. Unfortunately, ongoing rehabilitation is prohibitive for the family.
