Muhammad is 8 years old. He has been diagnosed with moderate intellectual disability with behavioral and emotional disorders. At 7 months old, he contracted whooping cough, and after the illness, Muhammad suddenly stopped making eye contact and responding to his name. This began his long journey of ongoing treatment and activities. For almost four years, Muhammad barely acquired any new skills. But as soon as regular sessions began, improvements began to appear. ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy and the neurodynamic therapy (NDG) method were particularly effective. After a course of ABA therapy, the boy began to develop an understanding of spoken language and began speaking. Thanks to the NDB method, many of his fears disappeared. Muhammad also visited a neuropsychologist and a speech therapist. Positive changes were visible after each session.
