Orphaned children need the help of an occupational therapist to learn essential skills

Snezhana lives in an orphanage. Due to her health issues, she is bedridden. Being confined to one position for so long has led to deformities, and now she can only barely move her fingers. She also cannot speak. Her only way to communicate with the outside world is to press a button to call a caregiver when she needs help or wants to play. But even this requires practice. Galina, the foundation's occupational therapist, helps develop this important skill. And Snezhana is already making progress. The main task of an occupational therapist at an orphanage is to improve a child's condition: teach them to sit, stand, or walk, and, if possible, to feed themselves and care for themselves.
