Support the provision of adaptive materials for visually impaired children at the boarding school

Boarding School No. 4 in Almaty educates 236 children with visual impairments, including 97 blind students. To ensure effective learning, the development of independence, and spatial orientation skills, the students require specialized adaptive educational materials. The project aims to purchase the “Prostranstvo” and “Vector” learning kits. These tools enable children to study routes, room layouts, diagrams, charts, and geometric figures through tactile perception. They also help develop fine motor skills and prepare students for Braille writing. The implementation of this project will help create a more accessible and supportive educational environment, where children with visual impairments can learn with greater confidence, build independence, and adapt more easily to everyday life.
