Kamil has been living with the severe consequences of diabetes for several years. The disease led to complications, including the amputation of both legs. Afterward, his life changed completely. Despite these trials, Kamil strives to persevere and continue living. He uses prosthetics that help him move around and maintain independence. However, due to changes in his stumps, the old prosthetics no longer fit. Kamil now experiences severe pain and difficulty walking. The sockets, which are too wide, chafe his skin, causing wounds and bleeding. Walking long distances has become virtually impossible. After an examination, specialists concluded that Kamil needs a new, lightweight, custom-made prosthesis. This will help reduce his weight, relieve his constant pain, and restore his ability to move normally. Finally, it's very difficult for his family to afford the cost of a new prosthesis.
