Fatima is a very inquisitive, cheerful, and active four-year-old girl. She has a malignant ventricular tumor and needs radiation therapy. The surgery and three cycles of chemotherapy (the last one was covered by our foundation) are behind her, but the disease is not retreating. Four more cycles of chemotherapy and life-saving radiation therapy lie ahead. The family is at the limit: the father works, but his salary only covers the current medications. The mother spends days in the hospital with her daughter, and four other children are waiting at home.
Funds helped at the start, but this time the family has exhausted everything. Every day of the fight costs money: constant medications, examinations, travel. And most importantly, the bill for radiation therapy, which can stop the disease.
