Anya, who has Spina bifida, needs a rehabilitation machine to aid her recovery after surgery and maintain muscle strength

Anya is 13 years old and has spina bifida. Immediately after her birth, she required urgent spinal surgery. This was followed by a long journey of treatment: hospitalisations, operations on her kidneys and legs, plaster casts and regular trips to medical centres. Despite all these challenges, Anya never loses her smile or her spirit. She is in Year 6, attends an arts school, and is interested in computer games and video editing.

Last year, Anya underwent orthopaedic surgery, and now it is vital for her to recover and consolidate the results. She needs a vibration platform for her exercises at home. It will help maintain muscle strength, continue her rehabilitation and reduce the risk of complications.
