Since 2018, the "Beautiful Faraway" charitable foundation has been helping lonely elderly people in difficult life situations. Our beneficiaries are unable to prepare their own meals due to age, illness, or disability; their income barely covers medication and utility bills; and they lack the support of loved ones. We provide them with hot meals daily – home delivery for those with limited mobility and bedridden patients, and also host them in three social canteens. For hundreds of elderly people, this is the only way to eat properly and feel cared for. To prepare hundreds of meals daily, five cooks work in our factory kitchen and three social canteens. These cooks arrive after dark, boil soups, fry cutlets, bake pies, pouring their heart and soul into every plate. We are raising funds to cover their salaries. If the cooks are unable to work, the canteens will close, and lunch deliveries to the elderly will cease. Support our fundraiser.
