Karina is 2.5 years old. She was born healthy, but after being discharged from the hospital, she developed an intestinal infection. Because of this, she gained weight slowly, but overall, her development was normal.
By the time she was one year old, her parents began to notice that she wasn't responding to her name, avoiding eye contact, and not babbling. At one and a half years old, doctors diagnosed her with developmental delay (ZPRD), an ASD with speech impairment.
Immediately afterward, the family began intensive treatment and rehabilitation. Karina works with specialists every day. Thanks to their work and her parents' persistence, Karina has shown progress over the past year: she has developed a pointing gesture, has become calmer, and her understanding of speech has improved.
Now, it's crucial for Karina to continue her therapy to consolidate her acquired skills and move forward.
Let's work together to help Karina complete this rehabilitation course!
