Platon is the third child in his family. He was born micro-prematurely at 26 weeks, weighing only 1200 grams. The baby suffered an intraventricular hemorrhage, which led to hydrocephalus, brain cysts, and a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy with spastic diplegia. In his short 2 years of life, Platon has undergone multiple complex brain surgeries, yet he remains incredibly optimistic.
His parents constantly work with him both at specialized centers and at home. Every simple action, like bringing a spoon to his mouth, requires immense effort. However, regular therapy brings results: just a few months ago, Platon struggled to transfer toys from one hand to another, but now he enjoys turning the pages of books.
Currently, Platon cannot sit up or move independently; he can only hold his head up and roll over. To build on his progress and gain new skills, he vitally needs a course of physical therapy and massage. The family is pleading for help with funding the treatment, as they cannot manage alone.
