Since birth, the boy had been under the care of a neurologist and diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
However, after further examinations, doctors suspected another serious condition. Genetic testing confirmed the diagnosis: spinal muscular atrophy.
Due to his illness, Madat is unable to walk independently.
He suffers from severe muscle weakness, especially in his legs, fatigues easily, lethargy, and decreased motor activity.
Each movement is a great struggle for the child.
Madat now requires a specialized rehabilitation course at the Adeli-Penza Center.
The program includes physical exercise classes, swimming, massage, kinesiology, Bobath therapy, speech therapy, and other procedures aimed at maintaining and developing motor skills.
The family is very hopeful about this course.
According to his mother, they chose this center based on recommendations from parents of children with the same diagnosis, who had already achieved good results after treatment.
In addition, the family needs assistance with travel, accommodation, food, and transportation.
Madat's mother has reached out to us to help her son gain the chance to maintain and develop vital skills!
