Doctors diagnosed a fracture-dislocation of the cervical vertebrae with a spinal cord contusion. The accident was followed by major surgeries, lengthy treatment, complications, intensive care, and a fight for life. Akhmedkhan suffered peritonitis, ulcer complications, bleeding, and numerous stages of hospital treatment. Today, he is completely paralyzed and numb in his limbs. Despite the severity of his condition, rehabilitation is meaningful and offers hope for Akhmedkhan. He had previously completed rehabilitation courses, and specialists noted a positive prognosis.
