Hanifa is only two years old. She was born with an Apgar score of 6. Around six months, her parents noticed alarming symptoms: she began flapping her arms frequently (stimulating), and her eye contact was very weak.
By one year, Hanifa hadn't developed a pointing gesture, wasn't engaging with people, and didn't respond to her name. She lacks functional speech and suffers from sensory impairments.
To alleviate these symptoms and support Hanifa's development, she requires regular therapy. ABA therapy and sensory integration are recommended, as are sessions with a speech therapist and a special education teacher.
Unfortunately, the family is unable to afford this rehabilitation program themselves.
