Laura is 14 years old, diagnosed with cerebral palsy (infantile cerebral palsy). By her age, thanks to rehabilitation courses and efforts, Laura is walking on her own, performing various motor functions and even walking to school on her own!
Recently she had an operation - lengthening the Achilles tendon. This was done so she could walk without bending her knee, by stepping on it fully. The surgery was successful, and for the results of the surgery to be permanent, she now has to undergo physical rehabilitation. These are individual exercises after orthopedic surgery for recovery of leg muscles, strengthening the feet (especially the operated one), strengthening the back muscles and developing the right arm (shortened arm), as well as exercises on electric trainer and treadmill to work out the correct gait.
If you do not take a course of rehabilitation muscles of the leg again will be spastic and everything will return to its original state, as it was before surgery.
Friends, let's help Laura to continue her rehabilitation so she can recover after the surgery!
