Prokhor's mother gave up on him immediately after his birth. The boy spent the first 10.5 months of his life in hospitals. He underwent three complex surgeries.
Prokhor's adoptive parents took him into their family and immediately began to focus on his intensive development. At the age of 11 months, Prokhor started crawling, and at 1 year and 4 months, he took his first steps with support.
Now that Prokhor is two years old, he has grown and become more independent, but he still lags behind in his development. He has no speech, only a few words, weak motor skills, and reduced muscle tone. This makes it difficult for him to perform basic movements, such as walking with shoes on.
Prokhor needs long-term rehabilitation. The main goal is to bring him as close to age-appropriate standards as possible, so that his speech and motor skills can develop.
The family has four children, two of whom are adopted and have disabilities. Therefore, the parents have turned to the "He Needs You" fund to ask for rehabilitation funding.
