Active and cheerful Karolina was 14 years old when she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. The first warning signs appeared in early 2026: drowsiness, dizziness, fever, loss of appetite, and nausea. Karolina's treatment began with hospitalization at the local district hospital in Apsheronsk, then she and her mother were transferred to the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital in Krasnodar. After two courses of chemotherapy, Karolina's condition began to improve.
