Until the age of two, Zubayr was developing normally and could express what he wanted, but then there was a setback. Zubayr stopped responding to his name, became withdrawn, and lost interest in his surroundings. After various examinations, doctors diagnosed him with delayed psychomotor development and autism spectrum disorder.
Currently, Zubayr is 7 years old, but he is behind his peers in terms of mental, cognitive, and language development. He faces difficulties in self-care and social skills. There are moments of undesirable behavior, as he cannot explain and show what he wants.
Zubayr requires comprehensive rehabilitation, including sessions with a behavioral analyst, a sensory integration specialist, and an adaptive physical education coach, as well as a speech therapist.
