Rostislav is only two years old. Before his illness, he was an active, inquisitive, and sociable child: he loved playing with children, learning new things, laughing, and expressing his emotions vividly. He really wanted to go to kindergarten—to socialize, develop, and have fun.
Two months ago, his condition deteriorated sharply: he became weak, tired easily, slept a lot, and almost stopped walking. At the hospital, the boy was diagnosed with critically low hemoglobin (40), and after a bone marrow aspiration, he was diagnosed with leukemia.
He is currently undergoing treatment at the N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology. He has already completed a course of hormonal therapy, suffered from aplasia, sepsis, hemorrhagic colitis, and several punctures. Due to his serious condition, full-scale chemotherapy has not yet been possible. Doctors are determining further treatment options, which may include immune therapy.
To rule out primary immunodeficiency, the NES panel "Immune Deficiency" test is needed.
Let's help your child overcome the disease and recapture the joys of a normal childhood—with games, friends, and carefree laughter!
