Maidin is 5 years old. He was born prematurely, at 32-33 weeks, with hypoxia and a double umbilical cord entanglement. At 2 years and 6 months, he was diagnosed with delayed psychoverbal development. The family immediately began comprehensive treatment, including medication and ongoing rehabilitation. Later, at 3.5 years old, ASD (autism spectrum disorder), eating disorders, and sensory disorders were added to the diagnosis.
From September 2024 to the present, Maidin has undergone daily intensive treatment and is monitored by specialists. In 2025, the family registered with a neuropsychiatric clinic, and in February 2026, he was officially declared disabled. Thanks to their tremendous efforts and daily work, the first results have been achieved. Maidin has become noticeably calmer and more assiduous, partially follows adult instructions, has begun using pointing gestures, and makes more eye contact. The family is currently going through a difficult time. Financial difficulties make it impossible to continue the much-needed intensive training.
We are asking for your help! It's critically important not to waste precious time and give Maidin a chance to continue progressing.
