Dalgatbek is 6 years old. He has a delay in psychoverbal development. His parents noticed the first signs of the disease when he was 2.5 years old: he had no speech or pointing gestures, did not respond to his name, and did not respond to requests. He became aggressive when refused. The family immediately began intensive work: ABA therapy sessions, neurogymnastics, and regular visits to a speech therapist.
However, at age 4, the boy's life was complicated by a new challenge: he was diagnosed with leukemia. The main treatment is now over, but the arduous therapy and severe stress exacerbated his developmental problems.
Now, Dalgatbek is making great progress: he has begun to respond to his name, understand spoken language, use pointing gestures, and even pronounce individual words. After completing rehabilitation, his behavior has noticeably calmed: he reacts more appropriately to refusals, and empathy has developed. However, challenges remain: food selectivity, obsession with the same activities, and occasional tantrums.
To consolidate these results and help Dalgatbek take the next step in his development, he needs another course of rehabilitation. Unfortunately, the boy's family is currently in a difficult financial situation and cannot afford the treatment themselves.
