Vitaly is 43 years old. All his life, he was the main support for his loved ones: parents, wife and three children. He spent 20 years working in the Ministry of Internal Affairs - he was a precinct officer and a senior precinct officer. In 2020, the family faced a serious illness for the first time: their 10-year-old daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and was given a disability. And in July 2023, a few weeks before his retirement, Vitaly's own world collapsed. Diagnosis: chronic myeloid leukemia. The doctors said the only chance is a bone marrow transplant. A donor was found and Vitali underwent a transplant last fall. Vitaly was slowly recovering and believed in the best. But in April 2026, it became known that leukemia had returned.
Vitaly is currently undergoing high-dose chemotherapy, followed by a second bone marrow transplant. An expensive antitumor drug is critically important for this stage. Its cost is very high, and it is not included in the standard CHI treatment for relapse. The family has already spent all the money on the first transplant, long journeys and the treatment of their daughter with diabetes. The wife is fired, she takes care of her husband. There is no income anymore.
We will help Vitaly get the necessary medicine and cope with the disease.
Здоровья Виталию! Сил вам, и пусть придет ремиссия! 💗
