Nadya is 13 years old and an orphan; her mother died three years ago. She has cerebral palsy and can only move with the support of an adult or a walker. The foundation's specialists transported her to Moscow for rehabilitation to give her a chance to learn to walk independently in the future.
"Nadya is a bright, creative girl," says Taisiya, the foundation's coordinator. "She doesn't like to sit idle: every day she spends time sculpting, drawing, and playing board games with friends."
Now, in Moscow, the worst thing for Nadya isn't the difficult, sometimes painful, physical therapy sessions and massages that help develop contractures, but being alone in an unfamiliar city without a loved one.
We are looking for a nanny for Nadya who will be there 24/7: to care for her, follow her doctors' recommendations, and become a close person, someone she can turn to, someone who will support her, comfort her, and hug her in difficult times.
Orphans with complex diagnoses come to Moscow and are left alone in hospitals during their treatment! Let every child have a reliable adult by their side! Support this fundraiser so Nadya and other children don't have to be alone.
