Dima is 10 years old. He was born at 30 weeks of pregnancy, weighing only 1,600 grams. He couldn't breathe on his own and was connected to a ventilator. He fought for his life for the first month. However, his condition suddenly worsened as he was preparing for discharge.
Dima underwent three intestinal surgeries, four resuscitations, and a cardiac arrest during surgery. The doctors' verdict was brain damage, cerebral palsy, and double hemiplegia.
Now Dima does not walk on his own, he sits with support, and gets up on all fours. But like all boys, he loves to listen to fairy tales and play with cars. He can speak in short phrases.
Despite his limitations, he leads an active lifestyle: he works with an AFC instructor, a teacher, a speech therapist, swims in the pool, and attends classes on brifability and fine motor skills. Only regular training brings results. However, the prices for rehabilitation are increasing, making it more difficult for his mother.
Now, Dima needs adaptive physical training and massage to strengthen his muscles, improve his physical condition, and keep moving forward.
