Anya has several diagnoses and she needs swimming lessons!

Anya is 9 years old. She has motor alalia, mental and speech development delay, and hyperactivity. Until the age of 4.5, she had almost no speech. At the age of 5, she was given a disability.

Her parents went through endless rehabilitation: physical therapy, massages, and sessions with a psychologist and speech therapist. It wasn't until she was 9 years old that Anya started attending a special education program, where she learned to read, write, and count, as well as improve her speech.

But the real breakthrough happened when Anya tried swimming classes. Water works wonders: the girl's back straightened, she walked on tiptoes less, became calmer, slept better and studied better. Classes give a boost to the development of the whole body and help to socialise.

Anya has a brother with a severe disability. In the future, she will have to become a support not only for herself, but also for him.
