Veronika is eight years old. She has successfully completed her first year of school. Thanks to her sessions with a special education specialist, she feels much more confident in the classroom. It has become easier for her to concentrate on tasks, understand her teacher’s explanations, and cope with the school workload.
However, the consequences of her difficult start in life still affect her. Veronika was born with serious health conditions and, at an early age, was left without parental care. She has been diagnosed with developmental delays and attention deficit disorder, which makes ongoing support from a specialist especially important.
Veronika still needs regular sessions with a special education specialist to develop her attention, speech, memory, and learning skills. Without continued support, the progress she has made may slow down.
