Mikhail has "crystal disease" and needs rehabilitation!

Mikhail is 19 years old. Since birth, he has lived with osteoporosis-pseudoglioma syndrome, a rare condition known as "crystal bone disease." His bones are so fragile that fractures occur even with minimal stress. Throughout his life, Mikhail has suffered numerous fractures and undergone lengthy treatment. Until the age of 12, he was able to walk independently, but after a series of severe fractures, he lost this ability, and the disease is progressing. In 2025, Mikhail underwent a complex multi-level osteotomy with the insertion of special rods. To consolidate the results of the surgery, he now requires a rehabilitation course, including exercise therapy, kinesiotherapy, mechanotherapy, verticalization, gait training, therapeutic massage, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Mikhail lives with his mother and grandmother; the family moved from Donetsk. His father left them when Mikhail was three months old. The family is unable to afford the treatment themselves. Let's work together to give Mikhail the chance to regain his mobility and improve his quality of life. Every donation brings him closer to this goal.
