Amin is 3 years old. At 9 months, Amin's parents consulted a neurologist complaining of developmental delays: the child was falling backwards, not crawling or rolling over. He also exhibited stiffness, spasticity, and hand tremors. The diagnosis was developmental delay, and at 2 years and 6 months, ASD and expressive language disorder. Sessions with an ABA therapist and a speech-language pathologist were recommended. After three courses of therapy and bioacoustic correction, Amin began to understand speech better and pronounce new sounds, but the cost of these sessions is too high for the family.
