Arman was born with a severe heart defect – tetralogy of Fallot. Only open-heart surgery can save him.
This diagnosis encompasses four serious heart defects. With this condition, the child’s body suffers from a lack of oxygen; he turns blue and struggles to breathe. In April, with the support of donors, Arman underwent his first palliative operation. Afterwards, the cyanosis disappeared, he gained more strength, and he became noticeably more active and robust. Doctors say he is now ready for the second stage of treatment.
Arman now needs a radical correction of his heart defect. This operation will help restore normal heart function and give Arman the chance of a healthy childhood.
Despite his illness, Arman is growing up to be a cheerful little boy. He loves being held by his parents and looks with interest at the pictures on his play mat.
Let’s help Arman get through the next and most important stage of his treatment. Together, we can give this little boy a healthy future.
