Babe is everyone's favorite, a star (after all, he was filmed together with the coordinator of the "Custody" program for Elle magazine), but at the same time life has not pampered him. Babe was found in one of the small settlements near Zelenograd in early March, he was running in confusion, it was evident that he was pets, he was wearing a harness with no identification marks. For more than a month we searched for his previous owners, posting information in special groups in social networks and asking people where he was found. But no one had information about him and no one knew him. That's how Babe stayed at the shelter. We were hoping to quickly find him a family because Babe is such an obedient boy, affectionate, gentle and friendly. He has good manners, always walks next to us, never pulls on the leash and is absolutely non-aggressive. But, apparently, the loss of his home is not the end of the ordeal that Little Boy endured. Some time ago we noticed that the dog had a lump on his neck that was growing in size. A visit to the doctor, ultrasound, biopsy, cytology - and the diagnosis - follicular carcinoma of the thyroid gland with infiltration into the wall of the blood vessel. The prognosis is disappointing - in dogs such tumors often have a rapid growth and early metastasize to the lungs because of invasion into the thyroid vein. But it is possible to save Babe, which is why it is so important to operate quickly and remove the tumor. Help us get the surgery and the accompanying tests done as soon as possible - every day is important for Babe now. The sooner the surgery is done, the better chance Babe has of surviving and finally finding his loving family and home!
