Friends, every day at the "Devoted Heart" shelter is about cleanliness from morning until night. Litter boxes, cages, beds, floors — everything must be clean, safe, and odor-free.
One of the biggest daily expenses is litter for the boxes. The shelter is home to more than 500 cats. Each of them eats, drinks, sleeps, and, of course, uses the litter box. And every box needs to be filled.
Without litter, boxes quickly become dirty, odors appear, and most importantly, the risk of infection rises. Cats are clean animals, and a dirty box causes them stress. For us, it's a threat to their health.
Every day, the shelter uses more than 250 kg of litter. Supplies run out fast, and new bags are needed every day.
We are raising funds for 2 tons of litter. This will be enough for about a week and a half of peaceful life for all the cats.
