Children with disabilities require high-quality hygiene products

The children with severe disabilities cared for by Umka use diapers throughout their lives.

They receive hygiene supplies under the compulsory medical insurance system, but the quantity is limited. Furthermore, the diapers sometimes do not fully meet the children's individual needs, which can lead to skin irritation.

Parents caring for such children always have to buy extra diapers themselves—a major monthly expense. Often, these children are raised in single-parent families, so funds are frequently in short supply.
