Hamza, who has developmental delays and ASD, needs rehabilitation

Hamza is almost three years old. He was born a healthy boy and, up until a certain point, developed according to his age. Everything changed when, at 1 year and 6 months, he became seriously ill and was admitted to intensive care. At 1 year and 7 months, his mother began to notice alarming changes: Hamza stopped making eye contact and responding to his name, and his pointing gesture disappeared. Now, the boy doesn't understand speech addressed to him and displays stereotypical movements. After a thorough neurological examination, the boy was diagnosed with delayed psychoverbal development (DPR) with autism spectrum disorder.
