Alim is four years old. At age 1.7, his parents began to notice that their son was lagging behind in his development: he showed little interest in toys, had no pointing gestures, and had difficulty understanding spoken language. Alim was diagnosed with the consequences of hypoxic-ischemic damage to the central nervous system, residual brain changes, a syndrome of muscular-tonic disorders, and a delay in psychoverbal development.
The parents regularly attend rehabilitation sessions with their son, and significant improvements are already being observed: Alim has improved his understanding of spoken language, has begun interacting with other children, and has learned to point to objects.
To avoid developmental setbacks, Alim requires regular sessions with a neuropsychologist, a speech therapist, sensory integration, and physical therapy. However, his parents cannot provide these sessions without your help.
Let's help Alim and give him a chance at a healthy and happy life!
