Orphans with spina bifida need help with travel costs

At 17, you want to discover the world, make plans, and try new things. For Nikita, who grew up in an orphanage, this experience is especially important. He loves soccer, plays tennis, and enjoys 3D puzzles and art. But, like many teenagers who grew up in an orphanage, he doesn't always have the opportunity to step outside his familiar environment and experience independent life.

Nikita will participate in the foundation's outreach program for teenagers and young adults with spina bifida who have grown up in an orphanage. These outings not only provide a change of scenery but also provide experience that is difficult to gain within the confines of an institution: learning to make decisions, take responsibility for everyday life, communicate, work in a team, and feel more confident in a new environment. Foundation specialists will be with the participants to support them every step of the way.

The fundraising campaign is open to cover tickets for Nikita, two other orphans and their caregivers, as well as foundation specialists. Thanks to your support, this trip will take place, and its participants will be able to take another important step toward independent living and believe in their own strengths.
