Orphaned children with spina bifida need materials to develop new skills

Milena is 14 years old. She lives in an orphanage and uses a wheelchair due to spina bifida. But upon getting to know her better, it becomes clear: her favorite thing is not talking about her limitations, but creating something with her own hands. Milena enjoys helping adults, keeping things tidy, caring for younger children, and always trying to be helpful.

This summer, Milena, along with other orphans with spina bifida, will attend the foundation's outreach program. Over the course of several days, the children will learn independence, get to know each other, and try their hand at various creative workshops. For many of them, this is an opportunity to discover new abilities, gain confidence, and see the results of their work. For these activities to be successful, they need creative and work-related materials.

With your support, Milena and the other participants will be able to not only have a fun time but also gain new skills, inspiration, and experience that will stay with them for a long time. After all, sometimes the opportunity to create is the first step to believing in yourself and your abilities.
