Help us buy rapid tests for cats!
Friends, new cats regularly arrive at the "Devoted Heart" shelter. Each of them comes from the streets, and we never know exactly what they may be carrying — an animal may look healthy, but a dangerous virus could already be living inside. To detect infections in time, protect the other cats, and start the right treatment, we test every newcomer upon arrival. For this, we need rapid tests: — for immunodeficiency and leukemia (combined test); — for panleukopenia; — for calicivirus. Each of these viruses poses a serious threat, and the sooner we know the diagnosis, the better the chances of helping the animal and preventing the spread of infection in the shelter. We are now raising funds for 40 tests of each type — enough to screen 40 new cats. Please support this fundraiser.
