Vasilisa needs surgery to install a new shunt!

Vasilisa has congenital occlusive triventricular hydrocephalus. Her parents learned of the diagnosis during pregnancy, but decided to keep their daughter—and have never regretted it. Thus, the family welcomed twins: healthy Anastasia and Vasilisa, for whom every step is a struggle.

Vasilisa only learned to walk at age three, and school proved challenging—so she has been attending a special school since third grade. But she has a huge support system: her sister Nastya, her best friend and loyal assistant.

Vasilisa has already undergone two shunt surgeries. Now she is facing a third—a cerebrospinal fluid shunt (ventriculoperitoneostomy) with the installation of a programmable pump valve—due to her deteriorating condition.

We urgently need help paying for a Strata valve for an implantable bypass system—the surgery cannot be performed without it. Please help this girl grow, learn, and enjoy life with her beloved sisters.
