Kolya is the long-awaited third child in the family. The pregnancy went well, but at the 26th week, mama’s water suddenly broke, and at the 28th week, the boy was born. Doctors fought for his life for a long time: Kolya spent three weeks in intensive care and almost two months in the department for premature infants with pathologies.
At first, his developmental delays were attributed to his early birth, but at eight months, a neurologist referred Nikolay for an examination, which confirmed the diagnosis: DTsP. From that moment, constant rehabilitation and the search for effective methods began.
Now Nikolay is 10 years old. The diagnosis requires lifelong LFK and AFK sessions, training on exercise machines, and the use of orthopedic aids. Because one parent must stay home to care for him, the family’s financial situation has become difficult.
