Victoria needs rehabilitation to restore sensation to her legs after a stroke

Victoria's warning sign was back pain a week before the stroke, but an X-ray showed no abnormalities. After visiting a pediatrician, her legs suddenly went numb. A CT scan and MRI confirmed the hemorrhage, and she required emergency surgery. The complication was spinal cord compression, leading to paralysis from the chest down. In the intensive care unit, Victoria underwent mechanical ventilation, tube feeding, and tracheostomy, but later learned to breathe independently.

Doctors attribute the stroke to a congenital pathology. Currently, Victoria has no sensation in her left leg and pelvic area, so she uses catheters and diapers, and she has been diagnosed with grade 1-2 scoliosis. Despite her inability to walk, her spirit remains strong. She uses walkers for verticalization, likes to draw, and communicates with her loved ones.
