7-year-old Semyon is somewhat similar to his famous peer from Prostokvashino - Uncle Fedor. No, he does not talk to cats and dogs, but he is serious beyond his years. From him you can often hear a phrase that does not fit well with the appearance of a little boy: "I am a man, I can handle it." But his life is such that these harsh words have become a motto - with them on his lips he overcomes regular painful dressings.
Semyon is a "butterfly". The definition, which, like “Uncle Fedor”, sounds like hello from cartoons, hides behind itself an incurable disease, epidermolysis bullosa. People with such a diagnosis are forced to protect their own skin, because any careless movement turns into an injury for them: first, small bubbles appear, which turn into non-healing wounds.
Therefore, Semyon has to endure dressings, repeating his trademark expression. Special dressings not only protect him - unlike ordinary bandages, which stick to wounds and worsen the situation, they do not damage delicate skin. And expensive creams and ointments are also needed - all this takes a significant part of his parents' salary.
