Olya has several diagnoses and needs rehabilitation

Olya Kulikova is 14 years old. She was born prematurely, at 26 weeks, and was raised in a children's home until she was 6 years old. They said the girl would never be able to talk or walk. The main diagnoses are cerebral palsy with spastic himepligia, torsion deformity of both femurs, flexor contracture of the knee joints, persistent moderate disorders of statodynamic, speech, mental functions, persistent behavioral, cognitive, speech disorders, disorders of the urinary system.

Once in foster care, the girl had a chance. By the age of 7, as a result of regular sessions with a speech therapist and a psychologist, she began to pronounce individual words, began to name objects, and move around with support. After three years of regular rehabilitation at the Be Born Again clinic, the girl developed an interest in the world around her, she began to talk, although also indistinctly, and her behavior improved. Olya has learned to read by syllables, with difficulty, but she counts. Her memory and attention improved, aggression disappeared, and perseverance appeared. Olya loves communication, is attracted to her peers, is involved in art, dance, swimming, and participates in competitions.

After undergoing corrective osteotomy and tendon surgery, as a result of a large amount of anesthesia, Olya experienced a setback in speech, memory, attention, and emotional background deteriorated.

Now she urgently needs to regain her lost skills. But, unfortunately, the foster mother is preparing for the operation herself, and the family has no funds left for recovery.
