Friends, when a cat arrives at the shelter from the streets, its body is often weakened. Cold, hunger, stress — all of this affects digestion. Many newcomers experience stomach and intestinal issues: diarrhea, vomiting, and refusal to eat.
Regular food in this condition can only do harm. So for the first period, we feed them a special diet — Gastrointestinal pouches. This is a soft, easily digestible food that helps restore digestion and does not irritate the stomach lining.
The pouches are especially convenient for weakened cats: they have a gentle texture, a pleasant smell, and stimulate appetite. This is a good way to gently start feeding when a cat is refusing food.
