Levon needs help to purchase special food — he has a rare diagnosis

Levon is 10 years old. At this age, children usually go to school, attend various clubs, and socialise a lot with their peers, but Levon mostly grows up as a home‑bound child. In autumn 2022, he was diagnosed with glycogenosis — a rare disease in which the body cannot properly maintain blood glucose levels. This means that without constant feeding, the boy’s blood sugar drops rapidly, which is dangerous for his brain and life.
Levon’s disease cannot be cured, but a stable condition can be maintained with the help of special nutrition. That’s why doctors recommended the boy a prolonged‑release starch called Glycoside: it will help keep his blood sugar levels normal, reduce the strain on his body, and allow him to live without constant anxiety. However, this food is too expensive, and Levon’s mother, who is raising her son alone, cannot afford to buy it.
The “Life as a Miracle” Foundation is launching a fundraising campaign for Glycoside. Help Levon feel more stable and give his mother a little peace of mind. Any help is a step towards giving Levon more joyful, ordinary childhood days.
