Before her injury, Solekha was a cheerful and active girl. She used to run, jump, play hide-and-seek, and organize pretend dinners for her dolls. She dressed herself, put away her toys, and helped her mother wash the dishes.
In May, a tragedy occurred. Solekha suffered severe injuries to her brain, lungs, spine, pelvis, and left leg. The girl went through a coma, intensive care, and five surgeries. For two and a half months, doctors worked to address the consequences of the trauma.
Now Solekha is conscious, understands commands, and can move her arms and legs a little. But she is completely dependent on adults.
The girl breathes and eats with the help of special tubes. She spends most of her time lying down because her body still does not obey her.
Recovery is gradual. Solekha is slowly starting to eat on her own, and her muscles are getting stronger. Now the girl is learning to hold up her head and torso, sit, move her arms, and swallow. Rehabilitation helps maintain positive progress and step by step returns Solekha's lost skills.
The family has exhausted their available funds, but stopping the therapy is not an option. Without the help of specialists, the girl cannot cope.
Let's support Solekha!
Пусть Аллах поможет Солихе в восстановлении 🤲🙏
